IPA Group and Cloudstaff announce new industry and innovation partnership

The IPA Group, the world’s largest SME-focused accountancy group with more than 49,000 members and students worldwide, and remote staffing pioneer, Cloudstaff, have entered into a bespoke collaboration partnership.

This innovative industry partnership will support IPA Group members by promoting access to skilled remote staff to help address hiring challenges experienced in many Accounting firms. The initiative is an industry first that enhances accounting careers globally by providing internationally recognised education and membership pathways for remote staff through Cloudstaff.

“This agreement establishes a bond between the two organisations providing opportunities for members in the region, initially leading out of the Philippines and supporting both Australian members (who utilise outsourcing) and the local industry through opportunity, educational standards, and ongoing professional development. It also demonstrates our continued commitment to the Accounting Technician segment of our global membership”, said Andrew Conway, IPA Group CEO.

Cloudstaff is pioneer in remote staffing professional services supporting high-growth businesses in Australia, United Stats and 32 other countries around the world. Cloudstaff has specialist experience in helping place accounting talent in high-growth firms – a natural synergy with the IPA Group – a leading global voice for the SME sector.

“Cloudstaff is thrilled to be entering into this accounting industry innovation partnership with the IPA Group. Founding careers is core to our ethos, and building on our Cloudstaff Academy, this relationship with the IPA Group provides a pathway to professional membership and further education which is unique in the industry.

Finding and fostering the best talent is key to helping our customers grow their accounting practices and this focus on growing the industry aligns really well to the goals of the IPA”, said Lloyd Ernst, CEO and Founder of Cloudstaff.

The agreement is part of IPA Group’s broader international strategy towards capacity building in the Southeast Asia region and assists in increasing the visibility and support for the accounting profession more broadly within the Philippines.
